Tamara is an RHS Gold Medal
winning designer and regular guest on
BBC Radio Norfolk’s “The Garden Party”

Tamara has been designing gardens since 2013 having originally trained as an arborist and horticulturist. Her passion for tending gardens quickly developed into a passion for creating them, and now the two skill sets work together. This on going experience of working with gardens and plants hands on, discussing and planning with clients and seeing gardens throughout the seasons, means her designs are always sensitive to the client and the site requirements.

Her gardens begin with an emotional response to a space, and her style is very much narrated by the planting. Often the landscape around her, and the sense of place that it evokes inspire her schemes, taking on a romantic, painterly effect.

Tamara has gained several awards for her design work. Notably she was ‘RHS Young Designer of the Year 2015’ at Tatton Park with her Gold medal winning garden ‘The Sunset Garden’. Regularly appearing at the Royal Sandringham Flower Show she has designed ‘Through the Gate’ ‘Fancy a Stroll’ and Norfolk Lavender’s garden in the Royal Pavilion, all winning Gold.

Collaborating with garden designer Kate Savill since meeting as finalists for Young Designer of the Year, has taken them both to Chelsea Flower Show. The pair were asked to design one of the five BBC Radio 2 Feel Good Gardens in 2017 and designed an artisan garden for Warner Edwards in 2018. The partnership offers a unique ability to combine their styles to create bold and exciting gardens across the UK.
